Klaven Embertson

Hello, my name is Klaven Embertson.  I am married to my lovely bride, Michelle; we have two children, Skylar and Katie, and one grandson, Bentley.  We have lived in the Stevens Point area our entire married life.

Michelle and I have served and walked with the Lord most of our lives.  During our marriage, we have walked through several medical and family trials and, only with the Lord's help and guidance, have we been able to grow stronger together during them.

During our time at Community Church, we have served as the directors of Children's Sunday School, taught the Upper Elementary Sunday school class, taught a Wednesday Evening Youth Group and I have served on the Elder Board as an Elder in training and taught the Saturday Morning Men's Theology Group.  As you can tell, I love teaching others about the Lord and day by day continue to find that this can only be done by the power and guidance of God's Word through the Holy Spirit.  My focus is to see each person grow stronger in their understanding of and walk with Jesus.  As it says in Colossians 1:28,29, "Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me."
