We believe that Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church; baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We practice baptism of believers by immersion in water in the name of the Triune God, symbolizing the believer’s newness of life through the death and resurrection of Christ. The Lord’s Supper is observed regularly by Believers in remembrance of Christ’s death and our life in Him through the new covenant.  We believe it is set forth in scripture that a period of self-examination should precede partaking in the Lord’s Supper.
